Where the Curtains Sway

My home is where I start my day, Where laughter lives and worries stay away. It's where my family talks and eats, And shares small joys and simple treats. My home is warm when days are cold, A place of stories often told. The walls have heard my happy cheer, And caught my tears throughout the year. My home is where my family prays, A special place full of hoorays. The familiar smell that makes me calm, Coming from the food made by my mom. No matter where I choose to roam, I know I'll miss the place called home. Because inside these walls I see Love, comfort, and the real me.
