My Home

My home is not just a house; it is a feeling. That feeling to me is a loving family that cares for me and are the people I can go to when anything happens. Once I open the front door to enter my house, I feel safe and calm. Right when I hop on the living room couch, it feels like I am sitting on the fluffiest cloud. When I walk in the kitchen to get some food, I smell Pilau, my favorite dish. My mother and father give me a squishy and big hug, and I see my adorable little sister waiting for me to give her a ginormous hug and I do. I hear laughter in the air right when I step in my home. Every Friday we have a movie night with all the people we love. And when my brother and I pick a movie, it turns out to be boring. But when my mother picks a movie, it is like the best movie in the world. I agree with the idea that home is not just a building, home is a place with laughter, happiness, and kindness. I think everyone should have a home where you can spend time with your family. It doesn't matter who you are, you should have a home that is loving and caring like me.
