This Is MY Home

A Home does not have to be a house or have a lot of walls. Home is where I can be myself and leave all my worries behind. For me home is like a book that has a happy ending each day. Home is not about fancy furniture or big screen TVs. Home is not about a large house or having a big bedroom. Home isn't just about having fancy clothes either, home is where I find peace. Home is where I feel warm and cozy in the living room, where I laugh with my parents and feel really comfy. The encouraging words my parents tell me make me feel special and unique. When I have a frown it turns upside down into a smile. The smell of yummy food coming from the kitchen, sitting down at the dining table, mom and dad telling me funny stories of when they were younger. Laughing all around on a Saturday night, snuggling under blankets, while watching a movie. Home is a place in your heart no matter where you are, even if you move away, you still have a home. Home is where around me I have the people who love me the most and they care for me a lot. My family is my home, my home is my family, that is what home is to me, not a big house or walls, neither is it about fancy furniture, not at all. This is what home is to me.
