Home is a friend! What does home mean to you?

Home is a place that makes me feel amazed. My home is not a building… It's my best friend! I go there whenever I'm feeling somber or stressed. My home is also my safe place. I feel safe letting out tears if I had a bad day. Home sometimes feels like a zoo to me because I have six pets. I have three fish, one hamster, one dog and one cat. My home is not just my safe place, it's also my pets safe place too. If they could talk they would probably say it's their place of comfort. My home is not just filled with people and pets it's also filled with memories, love and comfort. When I walk in the door I feel a tremendous sense of happiness and a fabulous smell that goes right down my spine. Some days after a long day of school I walk through my door and my mom is baking some delicious cookies for me and my family. She makes cookies for Christmas Eve, Easter day, Thanksgiving, New Years and Halloween, her cookies are the best! Some nights me and my family have family game night - it's fun. Sometimes we play board games and sometimes my mom makes up very fun games! I don’t ever feel scared or shy in my home because my home is my best friend. If my home ever burns down it will still be my precious home and that smell of walking in my door will always smell the same no matter what happens. If I ever move away to a different house my home will be my home forever and ever.
