Why I Love My Home

My home isn’t just a house. What makes it a home is all the good memories and family time. When I am sad, all the good memories hug me and help me remember the fun times with my family. When I’m cold and go inside, the warmth of my home makes me feel cozy. I love my home because I can watch movies, be with my family, and make memories that we will never forget. When I’m tired, I can go to my cozy and warm bed. I also love my home because when I’m hungry, I can make some yummy food to eat. I love my home because I can wear whatever I want without being judged. When I want to play outside and it’s cold, I can come inside and play in the warmth of my home. When I’m thirsty, I can get a drink of water. What I love about my home is my family, who helps me and is always there when I need them. I love my home because when it’s windy, cold, rainy, or snowy outside, the roof, windows, and doors keep me warm. I love my home because when we eat together, we share how our day was. When my dad teaches me to cook, we laugh and make good memories. I love my home because we have sleepovers with my brother and dad and watch movies together as a family. When we clean our home, we laugh and tell jokes while working. And that is what home means to me.
