My Home

This is what makes my home mine. When I spend time with my family, it fills the air with love. When I play with my sister, it makes me feel joy because I get to spend time with my family. A house may keep you safe from the rain, but a home does more. A home holds memories, and when you think about them, all the memories come flooding back. A home is where you feel safe and warm, like the house is giving you a big hug. My family makes the house feel full and helps create new memories. A home is where you can spend time with relatives and have fun. When I am dealing with something, my family comes to help me, and then I feel like I am truly at home. Home is what makes me feel joy no matter what. A home can protect me if there is rain or if someone is trying to hurt me because my family keeps me safe. When I went to another house, I did not feel happy because I wanted my home back. But then I started to care about that house, and it became my home because my aunt, cousin, and sister were there. So that is what makes my home mine.
