The Place That Makes Me Feel Safe

My home is not just about walls, floors and ceilings. To me, it's about the people who live there. When I'm at home, I feel safe and I know I can trust my family. When my sister, Mom and Dad are in our house I just know I'm safe. When I walk inside my home, I smell my mom’s delicious cookies and some other treats she makes. You can see me, my mom and my dad playing board games and having fun. The thing that makes me happy in my home is spending time as a family. If you see someone is hurt or sad, someone will always help. Me and my sister dance and be silly together. Some days we do have days that are not good like being mad or sad at something or each other. But we always will forgive each other. You can hear people talking and laughing. Another thing that my home means to me is love, caring for each other, and enjoying the great life we have together. This is why my home is not just about walls, floors and ceilings, it's about the love and people that live in it.
