Home Is Me

Home isn’t just a building to me; it is more than that. My home is a place where I can be sad and still receive love, and where I feel safe inside. My mom, dad, and family truly believe in me, so I feel like I can do anything when I am with them. Sometimes I don’t believe I can achieve my dream job, but my mom and dad make me believe that I can do it. We also spend quality time together, like playing games. My home is the place I grew up in, so I feel even more safe and loved there. In my home, I am provided with delicious homemade meals from my mom. My home feels safe, comfortable, and loving. It is also where my cute little kitten is, and I love her. My home feels warm and cozy inside. It isn’t just a house because some people say, “It is just a house, nothing much,” but that’s not true. A home makes memories we can’t forget. Traditions are passed down in our family and continue with me. Even though I live in a building, that can’t stop my mom and dad from having lots of fun with me. My favourite part is going for walks at the cemetery. I love doing that with my parents. Another thing I love is having family game night. That’s when we play different board games, and it’s so fun! Home can be anywhere, even at school. A home doesn’t always have to be a place; it can be a person too. Your mom, your dad, your grandma, or your grandpa, anyone you truly trust can feel like home.
