What Home is to Me

A home isn't just a place. Its where I feel most loved and safe. The calming music of kind words fills the air. I’ll never feel lonely, mad or sad when I’m here. Where I can say any jokes and always know to get laughs and giggles. If I’m stuck on homework crafts or chores I’ll know someone will come running to help. Dinner is my favorite part of the day it's where I can connect with my whole family. Home is where I feel so comfortable where I can sleep eat and talk without any bad thoughts. Home is the spot where I’m always myself where I’m understood no matter the words that come out of my mouth. Home is where my family is my Mom my Dad and sister It’s where I’m so so happy. Home is my happy place so I hope Habitat for Humanity can find other people's happy places too.
