What Home Means to Me

A home is not only a place to sleep. It’s a sanctuary of love and hope like when I come home from school I feel really happy, and put my backpack down on the floor and sit on the comfortable sofa. Other days I smell the sweet aroma from my mom’s baking. When I am home I feel tranquil, calm, happy and sometimes I feel enthusiastic. Sometimes everything gets out of control like if you have siblings they get out of control. It's okay, it always happens when you have a sibling. My favorite place in my house is my bedroom because I like to read, play, sleep, and draw. My special moment was when I went on a vacation with my family to India it was breathtaking. Another time, me and my family were going to watch a Christmas movie. After the movie I felt energetic and a bit tired. And that’s what the word home means to me.
