Meaning of Home

I think the meaning of home is feeling welcome, not just a building. Home should be somewhere you feel like you can be yourself. For me I love coming home to big comfortable hugs. Coming home and knowing the people there love you is something everyone should feel. I love the amazing smell of my moms cooking and sitting down to eat and talk. I'm so glad we can afford the delicious food to stay healthy. I love the feel of my perfect bed at night. I enjoy getting in my bed at night and reading till I fall asleep. Sometimes I'm so tired from my exciting day that I fall straight to bed. Excitedly, my dog jumps up to lick my face as I walk past him. I love the soft feel of his fur. My home is so quiet and calm, if my dog’s nearby I feel like I can just fall asleep on him. My favorite things to do at home with my family are board games, card games, and talking. The reasons I enjoy doing those things are because they are with family and in my home. I love my home because I feel calm and peaceful. I know I'm loved because my family's really good at showing it. My home is very fun and soothing when music is playing. I like my home so much. I’m hoping that everyone gets one that is actually safe so they feel more comfortable.
