Home

Home is the place where you feel safe and where you can be yourself. Home is where you don’t need to be at your best, where you feel free to be whoever or whatever you want. Home is the feeling of being at peace with the world, the feeling of letting go of all the boulders you’ve been carrying around with you and allowing all the best parts of your life to surround you. Home is your happy place where you know that you matter no matter what, that nothing makes you any less special, that you could be the one to make a difference. Home doesn't have to be a place like a house or an apartment or a roof over your head, it could be anything that makes you feel safe and secure. Home could even be a feeling, for me home is what it feels like to not care about grades or achievements because I know that my family and friends like me no matter what. Home could also be a person. And Home is something everyone should have no matter who they are, where they come from, or their heritage. There is no one, anywhere, any heritage, any religion, who deserves to be without a home.
