Home is a library full of books Home is late game nights with my amazing family Home is cold winter days under the heated blanket Home is My dad’s delicious pancakes on the weekends Home is a garage full of bikes Home is mini sticks in the basement with my friends Home is playing NHL with my best friend, Hugh Home is my dad waking me up early for hockey practice Home is my grandmother’s decadent chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven Home is my cuddly cat sleeping with me Home is my cat who is as fluffy as a cloud Home is intense road hockey games in my court Home is staying up as late as I can on the weekend until my eyelids feel as heavy as bricks and i can’t keep them open Home is staying up late watching the Toronto Maple Leafs lose in the playoffs time after time Home is having sleepless sleepovers on Christmas Eve with my older sister Home is my loving mom waking me up with a hug every morning.
