Meaning of Home

Home means a lot to me, because it is the place where I feel most comfortable. When I come home, I feel like I can finally relax and be myself. Home isn't just a building; it's a feeling that makes me feel safe and protected. Even If I had a bad day, home always makes things better. At home I can do the things I enjoy. I can get cozy and watch a movie, play video games or play with friends. I like being around people who know me and care about me. Sometimes we laugh a lot and sometimes we're quiet, but it still just feels good being together. I normally eat meals in my living room while we watch Stranger Things on my tv. We regularly use our dining room for fancy dinners and other random stuff like painting or building Lego. So, home to me isn't about the walls or the ceiling, it's about the people inside it. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people in our community safe and loving homes. I know I may not win, but I'm glad I'm still helping build houses for people in need.
