Home Is Love

There are millions of places around me but there’s only one place that I call HOME. Home is not just a place where I sleep it’s a puzzle piece that completes me. It’s where I share the most memories. Like when my mom sees I’m sad she comforts me with a hug. The warmth of her arms makes me feel so at home, and my heart beats so fast. When my dad plays with me outside, we play tag and badminton. When I get hurt, he comes by my side and never leaves. I know these are small memories, but I’ll always carry them in my heart. When I come home from school and I smell my mom’s delicious cooking, it’s like a sign to sit down and talk about our day. Even though my dad’s cooking is not as good as my mom’s I still try his food. And I don’t care if I win this contest, I’m just happy that we are raising money for Habitat for Humanity because everyone deserves a home.
