What Home Is To Me

There is lots I am grateful for in my home. I am grateful for my own beautiful and warm room, the basement in my house with a nice warm fireplace beside the couch with a fuzzy blanket. I am also grateful for having electricity, healthy food, clean water, and my 2 cats and fish. There is lots more I am grateful for (but a bit too much to list). My house allows me to do many things. Like decorating for birthdays, Christmas, Halloween, Thanksgiving and lots more. This means we have a place to celebrate with family and friends. My house is a great place to hang out and play board games like Catan, card games like Go Fish, And dice games like Yatzy. Me and my family also love to do movie nights/movie marathons (with popcorn). We like to do lots of crafts like painting, diamond art, sewing and whatever we can find. My home provides me with things I need most. My home is the place where I feel most safe, protected, and sheltered. If I didn't have a home, I think I would feel really depressed, sad, hopeless, and unsafe. I don't know how I would move on if I lost my home. All I know is that I would try my best to be grateful for everything I have. Never doubt your home. Remember the home you have is not just a roof over your head but it's also family by your side, even through the hard times.
