What Does Home Mean?

What comes to mind when someone mentions “Home”? It can be anything, your house, a certain feeling or basically anything. Most people think home is only a house and the same for everyone. They are wrong and here’s why. Home is where/when you feel safe and loved, maybe like you’re in your own world! Sometimes people’s homes are feelings. These can be laying in the snow or drinking a cup of hot chocolate. Home can be your house and that doesn’t make it any different. To me, home is wherever I live, I feel safe because I’m sheltered and loved because my family is with me. Not only that but I also feel like home when I do my favourite things like playing some music, no one said you can only have 1 home! Home is different for everyone, some people are still finding their home and it may take some time. If you don’t know what your home is, it may take some time to find out, you may have already found it because home is indescribable. Maybe you’re confused because you think you found your home but you find new homes. That means you have multiple homes or you change homes often, it doesn’t mean that you haven’t found your home yet. Home is indescribable as I said, so you may be thinking “How do I find my home if I don’t know what to look for?”. You can find your home in many different ways but they may be hard to understand. Home is something really special. You will definitely know what this feels like once you find your home. Home can be anything.
