The Place I Call Home

The place I call home is where I feel happy, I have a roof over my head, food to eat, family that I love and friends to play with. Home is my favourite place, because your home isn't just a building. It’s a place where you should be able to just be yourself no matter what. I love my house because I lived in an apartment for nine years of my life, and it took us a lot of houses to find the one that was right for us. This is the one my brother and I get our own rooms instead of needing to share one, and I have a lot more neighbours with kids around my age. I can trick or treat in my neighbourhood instead of driving to other houses, and I can play with my friends on weekends. I know that wherever I live, as long as I have my family, it's basically home because I'll have the people I love, and that's what will make it feel like home to me.
