What Home Means to Me

A red hot fire in the fireplace. people around, don’t matter the race. The smell of fresh baked cookies in the air, loved ones are everywhere. A playful kitty on the floor. So much stuff, we don’t need more. We are safe from the storm outside. Nobody has to hide. The sweet sound of laughs and joy. Kids playing with their toys. Everyone should have a place to stay, so we are building a home today. It would give you a nice new life. You wouldn’t need to make any strife. Habitat for Humanity will help build you one. It will be a great experience and lots of fun. I know you will love it, it will be a perfect fit. I wrote this poem, to show how much I love my home!
