When I Get Home

When I Get Home by Maya Quance When I get home, I want to go to jump in my comfortable bed with like twenty stuffed animals but I only have two favourites. I love the kisses and hugs I get from my mom and dad before bed, and my pillow is so comfortable and soft, plus it is so squishy. When I get home, I smell my dad or mom’s supper getting closer to me the more I get in the house. I feel like I'm in the most fanciest restaurant were everything smells good no matter what. Once I taste the supper, it is so delicious and tasty, always wanting to take more. Supper is a time where, we share all the happy things in our day and what we liked. When I get home, I get loads of kisses and hugs that make me feel loved. My parents are always talking so much, but I like it and when I open the door my parents have funny faces, but I can see that they are happy to see me after a long day. When I get home, I see the white frames that are on the wall. They make me feel like old fun times we had in the past few years. Sometimes I imagine that I was still in the frame even if I am not. Home is really a place where I feel loved, cared about, and safe. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping and welcoming people to the houses you make and offering them care and generosity. Thank you very much Habitat for Humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
