The Meaning of Home

Home. What is it? What does it mean to one? Many pondered on this question. So many options. So many opinions. But, home is not a place, but rather a feeling. A Feeling of love and welcome. It's a place where you are welcomed, whatever you may be. Home. Home is an essence of acceptance, belonging, and care. Home means; to belong. Opinion-wise, I reckon, home has one meaning. It's overlooked. Yet, so accurate. Belong. To me, I honestly stand by it. Belong. Such an interesting choice. Yet, so strong. So accurate. Many assume 'home' is just a place. But, that isn't the case. Home means more than that. Much, much more. It's one's whereabouts of many made memories. Some old, some new, all precious. It's a place of love and loved ones. Parents, siblings, grandparents, and other relatives, Or even the loved ones who neither share, nor possess the same blood as one. Even, I, possess of three brothers. Home. It has a strong magnetic pull to one's heart, and that very much includes me. To lose one, is like losing a part of yourself. Home is a part of you. It's a part of me. A home is to be cherished. Like a shrine of everlasting love. So what is home? Home is not a place, but rather a feeling. Home is to belong.
