What home means to me

Have you ever thought to yourself that your home doesn't have to be your house? Your home should be where you feel safe, loved and accepted. A home is about the memories you make and the feelings you share. It's the memories and moments you make that makes a house a home. The memories you make can tie you to your home. For some people they’ve been living in their house since the day they were born with the same people making a stronger bond. People that you share your home with can make some amazing memories and moments for you and it’s not quite home without them. The feeling of being calm and comfortable might just be the thing separating a home from a house. After a stressful day at work coming home might just calm you down. The calmness and comfortability in a home is unmatched and the feeling of being home is really like no other. If you are always uncomfortable, anxious, worried and stressed in your house it is not a home. Your home is not a structure that is what your house is for. Your home is where you feel safe, loved and appreciated not just because you sleep and live there. Your home should be a safe place for you, it should not be uncomfortable. You can pick your home, not anyone else whether it’s a relatives house or your house, it doesn't even need to be a house. In the end, a home is where you should feel safe and loved. A home should be all and above. The memories, moments and emotions you and your family make at your home will be unforgettable. There truly is no place like home.
