My Refuge

What is “home” to me? To me, home is a place where I am safe. It’s where I am loved and cared for, right through that comforting white door. Home is where my identity lies, where I can be advised by my older two sisters or my older two brothers. It’s where I have my make my impressions and where I can share my depression, or maybe ask my mom and dad to help me stay happy and glad. But I can’t forget who placed those in my life who makes me go through strife but rewards me twenty times better since the LORD is my Maker and Creator. Home is a place of love and fellowship where I get picked up when I slip where I am comforted when depressed where I’m supported when stressed. It’s where I am understood and where I spent my childhood. Who I’m with, it depends but it’s either with my family or friends. Home is a place of trust, it’s where you can adjust To practice giving and serving, it’s a place that I am undeserving. Home is where I overcome tribulation and where I start my foundation. It’s where my main connections lie and where my friends always stop by. It’s where I can express and celebrate, nonetheless my joys, triumphs, and fears, it’s where I spend my golden years. It’s not just an address, it’s a place of success. It’s not just a building, It’s the place of my upbringing. In my family we share our view and our experiences and possessions, too. where we love and are loved where we care and are cared for. It’s a place of familiarity where we can give clarity to the experiences we share home, something you can’t find elsewhere.
