What Home Means to Me

My home is great and fun because my family’s in it and I LOVE my family so much! I am thankful for everything I get and for a roof over my head. Home comforts me and is great in every way. I love my home. It's the best place to be. My Home is like a nice warm blanket on a cold night. My family lives in my home. I belong there with them, too. I like to snuggle up tight, all bunched together, all toasty warm. Like when my kittens sleep in my bed during the day and sometimes at night. My family is also like a cheerleading team. Playing together and being competitive at the same time. My house doesn’t have to be the biggest or greatest, but it's about spending time with the people you love most! I am safe and comfortable in my home. My parents lock the doors tight every single night. My home is a giant shield protected through the night and day. In my home, I can be myself and the way God made me. I can share my feelings if I’m hurt or sad without being afraid, like a turtle protected by its shell. My home is loud sometimes, like my brother yelling and whining. Other times it's quiet and peaceful, like turning off the lights and lighting candles. When I go to sleep, I am thankful for a comfy bed that I get to sleep in. I think of all the stars above my head. How many are there? Sixteen? A hundred? Millions surely? All I know right now is that my mother and father are kissing my head, saying goodnight, saying it's time for bed. I love nice memories. The ones hanging on the wall. Or birthdays or special holidays. But my favourite kind are the ones in my heart! I love my family so much. “ I love you more than the sun and back.” I love them to heaven and back and again and again. My siblings might be annoying, but I still love them so much. In conclusion, as you can see, my home is so special to me. I love my Home and that's a fact, because home isn’t just a place but a feeling in my heart. I will never forget my home.
