What Home Means to Me

My home isn’t just a building with four walls, it’s a place where I feel safe, caring, happy, understood, and never alone. Home is a place where I don’t have to explain who I am! Home is where my shoulders finally relax. Home isn’t just a home, it's a feeling of love, rest, respect, joy, grateful and emotional bonds! Home means when you come home from a long, hard or even just a normal day of school or work and then you come home to your family to see them all happy and excited to see you! It’s the best feeling to feel welcome at home even if it’s your own home! Family coming, friends coming and pets running to you! And just thinking how loved you really are or even just how much love and joy that is in your home! Home is a place where I feel comfortable and making so many memories. A home isn’t just a place where you just sleep, eat, and do nothing. Home is where you can express all your emotions, not be judged, making new traditions, and making new memories! For me, home is a special place like when you feel sick, you feel down and do bad in a sport, your family will always be there for you and will never give up on you, never be disappointed in you and never will not believe in you! Your family will be there for you no matter what! For me, I always will be in the present moment because you never know when your loved one may pass, which is unfortunate but that's how life works. Home is where I feel comfortable crying and do not feel embarrassed. Home means family because family makes a home.
