There's no place like home

One, you try to walk to your parents and back from where you started Two, you speak your first word Three, you’re out of your crib Four, you get your own room with some things that little ones love Time flies like a baby bird when it learns how to fly Before you know it, reality kicks in Home makes you feel Safe Loved Cared for And other good feelings Not bad ones It feels loving, caring, thankful and true Home to me isn't always about family, friends, cousins, aunties or uncles; to me it’s also about the time, talents and love you have shared with them. Now you got a job, maybe even a family and moved out of one or many of the homes that you ever knew. The goodbyes were hard to say before you chose your own path in life but you pushed through it. Now you miss everyone that was in your first home The ones you lost on the way Your mom, dad, siblings and even the little one you once were Home means growing up It means that you’re a person that is important A person that plays a part in this world A person that was born to be Happy Sad Joyful And other feelings too
