Where I'm From

I am from my toy car. From my old bike and my popped basketball. I am from a small and noisy home and six people sometimes talking at once. I am from a marigold plant in the garden whose scent reminded me to breath and be calm. I am from a basketball and my small bike from Singh and Kaur. I am from same eyes as my mom and sharing grandma’s blood type and from my great grandpa’s competitive spirit. From New Delhi like my grandma. I am from visiting my GURDWARA on sun,fri,tuesday. I am from am from Jagjit singh and Kanwal Jit Kaur, from shahi paneer and daal makhani. From placing candles during Vaisakhi and from wearing Kurta and a pool that I swam with my mom and family. I am from those moments in a small and noisy home.
