The Meaning Of Home

The meaning of home is when you are allowed to be who you really are, you're allowed to express yourself without anyone judging. My home was built by my own grandma’s, papa's, uncle’s, and my dad’s hands. So, every night as I lie my head down on my bed, I remember that my family is with me no matter what situation I am in. In the place I call home, I say everything on my mind without a disapproving look on others' faces. Instead they all support me and make me feel good about my opinions. My home has grown up with me, having changes made but I have changed with my home also. The meaning of home to me, is when you feel connected to a certain place where you can put all of your trust into being there. My home is where you make loads of good and bad memories but, all of the bad memories of yours will never be brought up in a bad way. Some people's homes are filled with anger, disgust, disappointment, and many things that most people won't want to grow up to. I proudly say that my home is filled with awesome things and lots of good emotions. So, the meaning of home to me is when you're able to not remember a single bad thing about that place, you're always able to laugh, and you're allowed to talk freely. I have many places where I laugh but never have I had a place as good as the place I call my home. That is the meaning of home to me.
