Sitting in the car with family,making bad jokes,and asking “are we there yet?” all leads to a feeling…a feeling of home. Comfort, friends, family, baking, and laughter all remind me of home,not a house with a TV or a nice kitchen, because no matter how expensive or fancy a house is, only comfort, friends, family ,baking, and laughter can make it feel like a home. One of the many feelings home brings me comfort whether it's hanging out and staying up till 3 o’clock in the morning with friends. Baking muffins with my mom and sister while laughing because it looks like there's a face because of how the chocolate chips melted, when I'm doing that kind of stuff I feel safe and comfortable. Another thing that makes me feel at home is my family even if they are being annoying, but when they're not I enjoy watching movies and playing board games with them while making memories along the way. Without a doubt I can confidently say that one of the biggest things that make me feel at home are my friends, whether it's hanging out at school with my school friends or cheering on my dance friends tap solo because either way when I’m with my friends I feel comfortable and happy. Despite not being great at it, baking makes me feel at home, even if they're a little over cooked like cookies, muffins, scones, and other treats like that. Lastly, a thing that makes me feel at home is just laughter in general whether it's a bad dad joke that's somehow a little funny or my sister making a silly face, laughter makes me feel at home. In conclusion, no matter how nice or fancy a house is, only comfort, friends, family, baking, and laughter can make me feel at home.
