The Meaning of Home

The Meaning Of Home I have many homes. When I go to my grandmother's house it feels like a warm cloud pulling me in. Me and my family go to a cottage in Tadoussac, Quebec and in the cottage there is a hallway. On the walls of the hallway there is the name and height of everyone that has ever stayed at the cottage. It feels like a family tree written on the walls. When I go to my grandparents house in Lennoxville, Quebec it feels like I'm falling on a cloud made of cotton candy. I feel like that because I usually go months and months without seeing them in person, and when I do see them in person I feel light and joyful. My home sings a welcoming tune when I get home from school, and when my parents get home they hear it too. Every night I hear the sizzle of my mom or dad cooking and "bang boom crack" coming from my brother's video games. In the end to me, home is more than walls made of wood, home is a place full of people that make me feel good. Home is a place of love, no matter if you're soaring above like a dove. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for letting me give, even though it's only ten dollars it helps people find a place to live. Alex
