What Home Means To Me

Home is a wonderful place where all of us feel most loved, welcomed, and safe. It is warm, loving, and caring. For instance, the people inside the home, my family makes me feel cared for and loved. For example, I wouldn't sing a really high pitched song at the top of my lungs in a random house, but at home I feel safe and accepted so therefore, I am going to sing like no one’s watching. Another reason is I feel warm in my home. Evidence of this is I have a roof over my head to keep out the rain, and a bed with covers and pillows. I consider myself very lucky.It is a very loving environment, where I feel safe and most loved. When I walk into my home I smell fresh bread my mom is baking, I see my dad trying to do a Tick Tock dance,But he can't and I hear my little brother saying to me “ play with me” all those sights , sounds, and smells, is what makes my home feel safe and cozy, meanwhile I'm in my room sitting on my bed looking out the window my home feels like it is made out of love. What makes my home a home is the love radiating out of it. It is a very joyful environment for me, for instance right when I get home from school I immediately see my mom making an after school snack, my dad asking me how my day was, and my brother singing a new song he learnt from grade one. That's what my home is all about. In conclusion, home is a place we should not take for granted. I love my home so much and I hope you do too.
