What Home Means to Me

Home means family and family means home. Home is where you feel safe and loved. My dad’s calzone is amazing. The smell of melty cheese, mushy dough and the tender chicken, that’s my favourite meal from my dad’s menu. It’s amazing! Food on my mom’s menu is chicken biriyani it’s my favourite! It’s the best food I have tasted. The smell, the taste and, finaly, the best part: the SPICES!! My room is my favourite place to go and sometimes even think. My room helps me to relax and calm down. Family is my life. My mom my dad and my sister all help me get through life a lot. Comfort is the best feeling in my opinion. Comfort is in my bed, my desk and in me. When I wake up in the morning I feel great on my own bed: comfy, tired in a good way. After brushing my teeth I go downstars eat my dad’s delicious bread and gravy. It is so good! My home is where I live. It is where my heart belongs. This is my amazing home. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for building homes for the families who need them.
