Home Is Different from a House
Home is where all your memories are shared with people. It means something or someone, has a place inside our heart. To me, Home is where comfort is. Home is not just something that you live in, it’s not just a wall with a roof and a window. It’s something where you feel belonging, safe, and welcomed.
My family has a place in my heart that will never be removed. Home is like a highlighter; it highlights the memories that ought to be cherished. Some memories are bad, but the thing is, we can learn from those terrible memories we had encountered.
Church is my second home. Why? Because the people there make me feel like I belong and they accept me for who I am. They are considered my home because they do not judge me. The fellowship of other people makes me feel at peace. I feel serenity when I am with them. Everything pauses when I am with them. I look at them, hoping that things will never change, wishing that this moment can last for a period of time, who knows?
Some might say that a house is a permanent building that you live in. But a limited number of people say that it is just temporary. To me, I think it is temporary. In the bible, it says, the Most High does not live in houses that are made by human hands, as heaven is His throne and earth is His footstool. It means that this world is temporary, our houses, cars, things that we think can fulfill us, are all temporary. It all feels right when someone considers us their home, right? If I get to live again, I will choose my family and friends to be my home over and over again.
