What Home Signifies To Me
Home is my cherished haven and the place where I feel at ease. It’s wherever my family is. At home, I feel free - I can be my true self, and no one judges me. I love being in my serene, tranquil, and personal comfort zone.
It is there by my side as I’m evolving and maturing from childhood to adulthood. It’s a carefully considered and well-chosen souvenir of all the triumphs and defeats of my entire life.
A house may just be a building, but the people that are there inside of it make it into my home. Being at home, for me, is like being in a tight-knit, cohesive small community with people who will always be there for me; through the ups and downs of life.
My home is a place where I can disagree with my siblings and have some good-natured banter. Whenever I feel like things are hopeless and the road ahead looks dark, my siblings are my anchor of hope to keep pushing on.
Ultimately, even though there might be chaos and the world is shaking around me, home, my steadfast friend, keeps me stable and holds me up.
