What Home Means to Me
What Home Means to Me
Home is like a warm hug that never ends wrapping me in comfort, safety, love, and freedom to be myself. It is more than just a house. To me, it is a place where my heart feels calm and happy.
When I think of home, I think of my family, especially my brother and sister who make every day more fun. At home I hear my dad and brother playing mini sticks, my sister asking me if I want to play Roblox, and my mom saying, “Dinners ready!’’ I smell the delicious dinners cooking in the kitchen. I taste the sweetness of cookies fresh from the oven. I feel the nice warm fireplace while I watch a show with my family.
As a soccer player, home is where I reset and rest after practice and games win OR lose. Home reminds me that effort matters more than results and that I am always supported.
Home is not just where I live; it is where I grow, laugh, learn, and belong. Home is not just where I live; it is where I am truly myself.
This is what home means to me.
