What does home mean to me?

Home means a lot to me, why? That’s what I’m about to tell you so keep reading. Home is my happy place, it’s where I feel safe, it’s like a little happy community for just my family in my house. All the ups and downs of my life have happened in my home. Being at home is where I feel like I will always belong, no one can judge me there. Being at home gives the feeling of comfort and peace. It’s not just about the house, it can be about the people in it, me, my brother and my mom and dad are what makes home even more homey. Without them home wouldn’t be home. Even if my brother is the most annoying person in the world, I need him in my house to make it home. Home does not have to just be your house, sometimes home could just be your room or it could be your whole town wherever you feel most comfortable. I will always love the smells and feeling of being at home like baking or cooking or playing around with my brother. This is what home will always mean to me.
