The Path Home Opens
Home means a place where everyone can feel safe and protected. It’s a place where my family and I get together and celebrate. It’s like a chest full of memories and joy. It’s the place where I grow up to be a functioning adult.
Home is a place I can always come back to when I’m sad, happy, or even angry. It’s a place where I can return and share my achievements with my close ones. The pictures on the walls bring back memories every time I look at them. They’re like little backgrounds that if I look at one, I feel like I’m there again.
But sometimes, homes are not meant to be kept, they’re meant to be remembered. 20 years from now, I’m not going to live in the same house, but I'll cherish all the first steps I’ve taken, and all the little moments that got me to where I am today.
The kitchen always has a smell of delicious food every time I step in the room. I always see my mom’s hardworking energy, cooking meals for me. Every time we sat down to eat, the kitchen was yet again filled with various topics and funny dinner conversations.
The living room is our entertainment room. It’s a place where my family gets together and watches a movie with each other. It’s the room where we get to discuss subjects and express our opinions.
Many people are not so blessed. So, you should be grateful for what you already have more than what you don’t. Having a home to grow up in is many people’s dreams. In conclusion, I think that everyone should have a place to stay with their close ones, a home.
