I Love my Home

Home is your happy place. Home is not just a building, it is where you meet new people and express your feelings. A house might belong to someone else, but home is wherever you feel safe. Home is where your heart belongs. It is where you belong’ A home is a place where you feel love, happiness, and make memories with your family, and have lots of fun like playing with your siblings. It is not just a building, it is the roof you live under. Be happy that you have a home because some people do not. Remember that you are protected at home with family and your pets. You know the pictures on your wall? Those are all memories of happy times with people. You know pictures are part of your home, part of you. Your home can be anywhere as long as you are cozy, safe, and joyful. Every time I walk in the door, I smell so much yummy stuff it makes me so hungry after a long day at school. In my home I remember sitting with my mom sipping hot chocolate and watching a movie that makes me happy. It all makes me happy and excited to go home. Home makes me cheerful. Home to me is fun, joyful, exciting, and warm. This is why I love my home!
