What home means to me.

Home is a place where I feel safe, a kind and helpful environment, a place where my loved ones are, my family, friends and neighbors. Home is where I know I'm safe. It is not a house, it is a home filled with love and warmth. It's where I have the right to be who I am, no hiding, no covering up, no being who I'm not, just to fit in because at home I fit just right. That is what home is to me, not a house but my home. Home is my happy place, a place where I'm calm, a place where I have no fear, a place where I can be who I am. Where I'm accepted and understood, home isn’t a location but a place where my heart rests. That is what home is to me
