Home vs House Home smells like my moms delicious baking. A house smells like wood and carpet and clean laundry. A home looks like my family welcoming me home after a long day of school. A house looks like four walls a floor and a bathroom. A home sounds like laughter and screams of excitement and occasionally the sound of a movie playing while we eat hot popcorn with melted butter and salt. A house sounds like creaks while you walk up the stairs. A home feels like the comfort of snuggling up in your bed and munching on a snack while reading a really good book or playing a fun game with your friends online. A house feels like walls and wooden floors and the cold touch of your doorknob. Home tastes like a brick wall. So does a house.
