Home Means Everything

Home is a place where we feel safe. On the couch, or on the bed, home is a place where memories are made. First we will come to the kitchen, wanting a snack, but instead we find a whole meal intact. The living room is a place of comfort. Board games are played, and drinks are spilled, but we still are comfy and cozy just how we like it. When the weather is bad we will gather around and be together. The family room is a different place. More toys and the TV too. Whether it's a Friday night watching baseball, or a week night just playing lego, we are always having fun. Up the stairs we are at the bedrooms, warm beds and pjs waiting. Down in the basement, it may feel scary, but don't worry, there's nothing there. We may be playing ping pong, or having friends over in the basement. Lastly, Home is a place where family is, and memories are made. That is what home means to me.
