Home is My Happy Place

“Home is your happy place” I mean it is, but not everyone feels the same about that. Personally I do, every time I feel sad or upset, anything like that, I want to go home. During the break, my dad surprised my family and I by going to Florida, it was a last minute trip. To be honest, I didn't even want to go in the first place, I wanted to stay home. The whole time I was there I missed home. My home is where I feel safe, where I am happy and where nobody judges me. A home is different from a house, different names and different meanings. Sure, I can live in a house but my home is mine. When I was in first grade I would cry a whole lot. I would go to the office to call my mom, and the first thing I would say was “Mom can you take me Home”. Yes, every time, every single time. My family makes me happy and they live at home, my happy place. Where I live is not the only place I stay and feel happy. I have many other places that feel like home. I could name them all, but there's just too many. When I'm at home I can let loose, shake all the bad things off my shoulder. Home helps me with everything, you can name it! In my home we do awesome things and amazing activities. We do art, we cook together, all you can think of! Always remember, it's not just your happy place “Home is my happy place”.
