What is a Home?

A home is a place where you can be invited and welcomed too. Home is a place where I can smell my mom’s and dad’s cooking. Home is a place full of laughter. Home is a place where you can express yourself and your feelings. Home is a safe place for you. Home is a place where you can show who you really are. Home is a place where you can relax and find peace. Home is a place where you can find joy in little things. Home is a place to discover new things. Home is a place with joy and kindness. Home is a place to enjoy. Home is a place to create memories. Home is a place to learn. Home is a place to be respected and to respect others. Home is a place for me to cared for and loved for. Home is a place to be accepted and enough. What is a house? A house is built like a home but is not a home. A house does not have a spark of warmth and coziness in a home. A house is not a home! You should be grateful you have a home because not all Canadians have a home. Everyone deserves a home.
