My Safe Space

Everybody has a different meaning of home, but this is what it means to me. Some of my meanings of home are love, safety, and comfort. Although we get on each other's nerves, home is a place of unconditional love. First of all, I have a loving family where I can be myself, without being judged. In addition to the love of my family, there is also the love I have for my rabbit, Simba. Lastly, I get lots of hugs and affection which shows me that my family loves me. I am very lucky to live in a home with lots of love and affection! It’s true that I have shelter from the walls of my home, but I also have the protective care of my family. Thankfully, I have a home that keeps me warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. Next, I feel safe in my home and my neighborhood. Also, I have food, water, clothing, and everything I need to stay healthy. All in all, my family makes sure that all of my needs are met. Lastly, home is a place of comfort. If I am having a bad day, my family comforts me and makes me feel like I am enough. As well as comfort, I also feel relaxed and cozy in my home. One more reason is that, when I get home from a long day, I can go to sleep in the warmth and comfort of my bed. In the end, I feel a lot of comfort in my home. To conclude, love, safety, and comfort is what home means to me.
