The Meaning of Home.

A home is more than just bricks and tiles; a home is a place where I can express myself and not be judged for it. A home is a place where my drawings are hung up on the fridge, where my family and I sit on the couch and watch a movie, and where we curl up together when we get scared. A home is a place where we celebrate our wins, birthdays, anniversary, grades, and church holidays. Laughter fills the room, but when I make mistakes, they are not judged. A home is a place where I can express myself, and my feelings. It’s a place where we are not judged, a place where I find comfort, love, and safety, and you feel confident no matter what. A home is a place where everyone encourages you, and pushes you to fulfill your dreams, comforts you, and will keep you safe. This is my home, my home of happiness, love, joy, and peace. It’s a place filled with laughter, and I say that everybody deserves a home.
