A Feeling Not A Place

Home isn’t just a place to be, it can also be a feeling too. I think home Is where you feel the most happy. When I’m at home, I’m not judged or shamed. My home has everything I need, which are my family, my couch, food…. Etc. But today, I’m going to be talking about the 3 main things that really make home, home to me. First, my pets. My pets are my biggest fans! When I get home from school, my dogs are already there, wagging their tails, waiting for me to come play with them. And of course my cat is very patiently, waiting next to his food bowl for his very yummy evening snack. And whenever I play Monopoly, you bet my rabbit, Buzz, is rooting for me!... I hope. My pets are so sweet, and so funny, that’s why I love being around them. Their my biggest fans, and I am theirs. Secondly, my bedroom. My bedroom is my personal space. I have all my things, furniture, and Suki (one of my dogs), sleeps with me in my room too! Which makes my bedroom even more cozy! Though, my bed is where I spend time the most. I’m usually watching shows or drawing. And of course sleeping too. I love my bed. Oh! And I can’t forget my desk! My desk is where I am the most productive. I love to make gifts for my friends and my family there. And there are a lot of other things I love about my room. But the things I love the most are all the happy memories that come with it. Speaking of memories… for my next topic is, well, memories! Some of my favourite memories are definitely game nights! My family is pretty big and playing boardgames can get really chaotic, and a bit loud, but that’s the fun of it! Sometimes. I really enjoy playing games with my cousins though. They are funny, and they usually know all the rules, which is nice because I hate explaining them. I have so many memories, (obviously), most of them are with my family, that’s what makes my memories so great. In the end, you’ve heard me blabber about on my bedroom, my pets, and my memories, but those are only a few things about home means to me. But now, I want to know what home means To you
