Chez soi, Home

When I place my foot into the house I feel a rush of warmth sweeping over my body, not because it's warm inside, but due to the welcoming smell of my cozy home. I remember all of the things I wanted to do before the tiring day of school. Je marche vers mon salon, je prends un ballon de soccer et je joue avec mon filet de soccer. After that, I go to my room and unpack my bag while all my toys and books welcome me home. I have a home inside my home : my room. Next, I sink into my comfy couch which has been calling me to sit on it all afternoon, and I grab a book which is trying to tell me that it is very interesting. When I have read a few exciting chapters, I turn on the TV and watch some premier league highlights. I smell my parents’ cooking and hear them preparing some delicious food. It smells amazing! J'adore quand mon père cuisine parce qu'il cuisine très bien! At the end of the day, I lie down in my warm cozy bed and watch the snow falling peacefully, while sipping warm hot chocolate which warms my insides completely.
