A Building I Can Call Home

Home isn't just a building. It's a place with a family I love. A place with a big yellow roof above my head. A place with a big white bed for me to sleep in and a pillow for my head to rest on. It's the smell off my mom's hot chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven. A place where my family gets to watch Survivor on the cozy orange couch. A place to make memories and share them too. A place where I feel safe and a place to play soccer with my dad. A place where I share ice cream with my family on a hot summer day. A place to have fun, listen to music and feel comforted. Sure, my home isn't perfect but it's good enough. So I wish that everyone has one as good as mine. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving many people somewhere to call home.
