Meaning of Home
What home means to me is where people have fun, shelter, clothes, water and food. Home is an important place where people take a nap. Home means you have shelter to live in. Food to fill your stomach. And water to be hydrated but that’s not all home means. Home is where you belong. It’s where you are meant. You have the right to have freedom. It’s where you can make friends and meet relatives. It’s where you share a community
What I think about my home is that I feel safe in my home. I feel protected. It’s the place where I feel safe. It’s where I feel calm. I feel comfortable in my room. My room is the best room. My bed is the most comfortable bed in the world. It’s where I take naps whenever I go. I play Roblox and Minecraft on my iPad on my bed because my bed is the quietest room. It’s where I can do my homework and do art and crafts. My room feels comfortable; it is peaceful. I love my iPad because I get to play with my singing monsters on it. I love my big brother because he gives me the best advice to never give up. I love my big sister because we always hang out, draw together, play sports together, and play together on the ps3. I love my ps3 because I have got to play battlefield 3, sonic generations, and Killzone with my brother.
If I was homeless, I would feel like I’m not loved and I would feel miserable and horrible, but at least I have a roof over my head to protect me from bad weather. Water to stay healthy. And food to fill my stomach. I would love to give money to the poor so they can buy a house and be safe. I feel bad for all the people that don’t have a home and starving people that can’t buy food. This essay is for the fundraiser of Habitat for Humanity in Manitoba who can help build homes for homeless people.
