My Home

Home is where I feel safe, loved, and happy. My dog and my cats are there to greet me when I come home. When I step inside, I can smell the food that my mom is cooking. When I get to the living room, I can see my two brothers playing in the living room and I go and play with them. When I look outside, I can see the cats and my dog playing. When my mom calls me, my dad and my brothers to go have supper, we all head to the table while we are eating, we tell each other about our day, and we tell jokes and we laugh together. After supper we play a board game, or we read books to each other. When it is time to go to bed, it is always quiet and peaceful. While I am still awake, I think about the day, and I wonder what tomorrow will bring. I think that home is not just a house that you live in but a place where you make memories and shar memories with the people you love and care about. That is why home is important to me.
